Got this machine Lexmark XC2235. Latest Firmware.
Every scan weather from the Scan Tool on Win10 or from a Shortcut for Scan to Network, creates a PDF with a blue line. Oddest thing, if I scan in Black and White, I still get a Blue Line.
The Blue line Does NOT show in JPG and other formats, Copy is Fine, Print is Fine.
Scan to PDF file shows the Blue Line.
Openning the PDF in different Programs changes nothing.
Anyone see this before? Please Help!
I have a Lexmark XM5263 that was able to scan to a share on a Netapp. I moved to a different Netapp at a a different location. Before the move the scanner was able to scan to the old share with out any issues. Now the scanner has a different file path. I updated the file path and now the scanners can't scan to the Netap. I have three Lexmark printers. Two XM5263 and one XM5163. The XM5163 can scan to the share just fine, but the two XM5263 can't.

I've got a brand new MS621 from Lexmark - it will not print from either USB for network interfaces.
It will print reports from front panel on the unit itself.
(Canadian) Support has kicked this around for a couple of days now and we're not getting anywhere.
We have tried a number of different drivers, from a couple of different computers, and both network and USB interfaces. Their last suggestion was for me to remove all the Lexmark drivers from all of our corporate PCs and install only the one driver required for this printer, and try again (!?!?!) The fact that we own more than a dozen other Lexmark units doesn't seem to register....
Heck, even "echo 'hi mom' | nc printer.ip.address 9100" doesn't work, and I've never seen that not work on a functional printer....
Any suggestions on how I get this ticket escalated to someone senior...
I had put several CX410 and a couple of CX417's out to customers. Every 15k prints the "imaging kit low" pops up. On Lexmarks site it shows the kit is supposed to last 40k prints. Yes, I made sure the quantity is total prints (B&W, Color, Scan and FAX).
Since they are out of warranty by the time this happens Lexmark has been no help. I try to reset the count, but that fails. The web sites that tell how to reset it have different directions than the 41x series, but I got the jist of it.
I have updated the firmware to the latest. I have also let the error just sit there and so far they still print, one unit is on 34k prints. I just hate seeing the alert and so do the customers. Telling them to ignore it is like telling them to ignore all IT alerts.
I actually have one that now jams after every print job when I replaced the imaging and fuser...
We're currently having an issue where PDFs generated specifically by the following application seem to print slowly (1-2 minutes) on our Lexmark MS312dn:
However, PDFs generated by other apps seem to print at optimal speeds (seconds):
Another thing... the PDF created by the Canon prints at optimal speeds (seconds) when sent to our Xerox WorkCentre 7830i.
Right now, the Lexmark MS312dn is on a 100 Mbps ethernet connection and the Xerox WorkCentrre 7830i is on a 1 Gbps ethernet connection.
Could the network speed literally cause a difference with a PDF generated by a specific app? I tried lowering the printing resolution/quality for the MS312dn print job, but it doesn't seem to help either.

I have a Lexmark X954DE that is taking upwards of a minute to authenticate to a shared network folder, hosted on a Terminal Server.
The scan will arrive in the folder as per normal, but the problem is just before the scan is sent, when attempting to communicate and authenticate with the folder.
It seems to be a known issue, according to some lexmark documentation i have. But they supply no workaround.
Firmware is the latest, permissions are correct. Network speed is normal.
Terminal Server is configured with a username and password dedicated to scans (ie: username is scans, and password is enabled.) Users have a mapped drive loaded via script to a "common" drive, where the folder resides.
Wondering if anybody has come up with a solution to this, that doesn't involve removing the authentication for the process.

User is not able to print from his computer to the network printer located in his office (Lexmark MS415DN), I just throws up a general printing error "This printer couldn't print Microsoft Word - Proposed Spirit Con Schedule". I know it is not a feeding or paper size issue, as I have set feed to Tray 1, and Letter. With that common issue, what could be possibly causing the issue?
The login method on the browser gives me two choices, what appears to be an old ldap server, and username/password. I cannot do either. We have a standard for setting these up, and the usual user/pw did not get put in. Is there a default user/pw for this model Lexmark?
I want to troubleshoot why a 8 page document come out each morning in wingdings font, cannot tell what it is. Hoping I can enable print auditing on it to see what is getting sent. Can that be done?

Hi all, I'm having issues getting macs to print to our network printers. The printeris a Lexmark XC4140 printer and the mac is 2019 macbook pro on 10.14.5. I can add the printer from Printers and Devices, but when trying to print, I'll get a little X in a stop sign-shaped shape, or it'll print but say that the printer is paused and trying to make it resume doesn't work.
I've added the user to the print operators group, I've deleted and re-added the printer, I've re-added using the printer IP address, and I've powered off/on the printer. Seems like it's using the Airprint driver with a Lexmark XC4100 series driver. User is hardwired, not on wifi (though it doesn't work on wifi, either). Any ideas?
The six page document that prints daily appears with the above as page 1. Is there something running on the Lexmark, like VNC or port 9100 that would cause this? I cannot find the source.

I have a Lexmark MS817n that throws a low voltage power supply error upon boot. I've replaced the power supply and still get the same error. If I remove the imaging unit, I get the normal Lexmark menu telling me that I need to install an imaging unit. The menu never times out nor do I get the LVPS error...that is until I install the imaging unit back.
Has anyone run across this problem before and is there any reason that an imaging unit would cause the LVPS error?
I'm trying to stop using network printers where possible to limit exploit potential with minimal infrastructure rollout (compared to networked/print servers). We primarily use Lexmark printers that are both USB/Ethernet capable.
I'm finding a lot of trouble with drivers, particularly when using Lexmark MS3XXdn products with Windows 10. In particular, Windows keeps trying to install an app with a green interface as the preferred driver. I've tried a few things, but for some reason printing through the app only prints one sided, regardless of whether or not the app is set to print on both sides.
Alternatively, I can find a traditional Lexmark driver from the Lexmark website and install it. This driver also allows you to print duplex, and while it works, I'm finding that some jobs are taking a long time from the moment you send the print...

I am currently setting up printers for my company, these are #Lexmark #M5255 and I cannot manage to find a way to delete the PIN that is used to access the webpage of the printer.
I do have the PIN but I want to manage these printers in #Markvision and it would make my job way easier to just remove the pin.
Please note that I know that it was possible on older printers but for some reason I cannot find the setting on this model.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

We have a Lexmark CX820 that will not scan to email. It was working, but then it had a failed motherboard that got replaced and the scan to email is no longer working. I have verified the user name and password of the email it is using and i have fully updated the firmware.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
It does not get an error code when failing to scan to email. It just says Scanning Status: Canceling
