We just started deploying the Lexmark 1246XM and users are complaining that they cannot make copies while a fax job is in progress.
I'm not sure if this is normal behavior, user error, or a mis-configured setting. Any thoughts?
Thanks

We are trying to put together a document that will provide users and easy guide on how to scan documents and e-mail them using the Lexmark XM-1200 Series printer.
We have been looking online but have only found videos on YouTube, is there any good documentation that I can obtain to make life easier on them?
Thank you
Hoping someone can help with this - haven't had any luck so far! I'm a remote support tech - have several users who have Lexmark MX321 printers they are provided for use when they're working over VPN from home. The printers are connected only by USB - no network or email connectivity - they use just to print and scan locally to their laptops. So when they set up the printer, the drivers install with no issues but they can't get past a message on the printer panel - use the embedded web server to configure security settings - the printer has no IP address, so the web server can't be accessed. The printer will just loop back to that setting and they can't get past it. Have had no luck finding a good set of instructions to guide these folks past that message so they can use their printers - also need to disable the SMTP function - have...
Questions for anyone that has gone thru the migration. As I am pulling teeth from Dealertrack to get details and migration steps for printers and line printers.
To add to that most of our main 24 printers was marked red as in not on their compatibility list and yellow as maybe.
Also when they say they load logos to the printer. What process do they do to complete this? Our fleet is 100% Lexmark and most in the age of 2016 newer.
Thank you!
I have roughly 30-40 Lexmark laser printers. Is there a tool that would allow me to see alerts, update firmware, and get notifications? They are all connected to the network.

On the home screen, the menu button has an exclamation mark on it. The machine thinks there is paper jam on Tray number 1 but there isn't. How do I reset this? I tried everything for the whole week and nothing works. This is my last resort before throwing the machine out.
I'm working with a Lexmark T652dn. There is currently a message on the screen saying that I need to replace the maintenance kit, which I have already done. I've also followed the instructions on clearing the 'maintenance count' as recommended here: https://www.printertechs.com/maintenancekit-instructions/101-lexmark-t650-t652-t654/434-reset-mainte...
After seeing the new Maintenance count, which is now '0', I reset the printer and the message still pops up. This happens over and over again. Resetting the printer to Factory Defaults doesn't help either.
Any advice?
I am working with my Lexmark printer, and I have disabled the central/diagonal watermarks through the printer's settings on my windows PC ('do not use watermark' option). However, every time I print, another watermark automatically appears in the left margin of the paper. I don't know how to disable this one. Does anybody know how to remove it?
I'm just getting a (new to me) C510 up and running. It's printing just fine over the network. But I'd also like to plug a PC into the USB port as a windoze 10 local printer. I've installed the drivers from the Lexmark site on the PC, but it doesn't see the printer. In fact, when you plug the printer into the PC, windoze doesn't jump through the normal connected-to-new-device hoops, which kind of suggests to me that the USB port is disabled in the printer - but I can't find any such setting. What am I missing?
thx.mch.
I have a lexmark xm3250 that uses the scan center function to scan documents in PDF format to a shared folder on a desktop computer.
I have credentials cached on the printer that are used to connect to the folder.
When I first set it up, documents scan just fine. Later in the day, I get an "Invalid credentials" error and have to re-login to get it to work.
Any suggestions?
We have twoMX722adhe's. We were having an unrelated issue where the printer was not saving settings so we upgraded to the latest firmware. Soon after we noticed that the printer would randomly start take longer to print, stop printing, and then would either stop printing all together, or take between 1-3 minutes per print job to print.
This is a truly a random problem. I have seen it occur at all times of day under all conditions. I have reproduced it in the middle of the night, during low use, and during peak hours of the day when the printer is under heavy load.
There are days where the issue does not occur, and then it will suddenly start occuring again.
In an effort to get to the bottom of this I performed a packet capture with Wireshark on port 9100 (the default port for raw print jobs) while the printer was directly wired with a...

I have a Lexmark X1240 printer, I do'nt have a install CD for the printer. I contact LEXMARK support and could,nt get any support because it is a discontinued model. I would like to know is there any way I could get the drivers for this printer. Maybe someone has one they would sell to me.
With Cloud Print no longer supported I'm looking at deploying CUPS printing to managed Chromebooks in the Google Admin Console. Printer model: Lexmark M3150. I've tried a few different configurations when adding a printer but I have not been successful.
I have tried adding the printer with the following configurations:
I'm currently testing on a VLAN that does not have any ACL's or firewalls in place.
Is there any NCR paper that is compatible with standard laser printers for 80mm restaurant chits? If so, do you know the contact info of any company that produces that type if NCR paper
Hello.
I’m getting weird error on my new CX522 Lexmark AIO printer.
I googled it and there is no mention of the error code anywhere, not even at Lexmark support.
The error is “Paper Jam 34.04A.” (screenshot attached)
I Checked the printer and there is no Paper jam.
The Only thing to do is to click below the error line below on display “Finished removing jammed pages”. When I do that, the actual page prints, it looks like error will clear, but after printing finishes error comes back over and over. The only way to clear error completely is to power cycle the printer.
Then it will print ok few jobs but then error comes back.
I have 3 other model printers like that, and I’m having nothing but constant trouble.
Please advice
Thank you
Mike
Having recently added a Lexmark printer to the network, I have tried to tell it to use a "real" SSL/TLS certificate issued from the company internal CA, but it keeps refusing and just reverting to a fresh self-signed certificate.
The printer web server lists the new certificate with "Yes" in the "Signed" column, but somehow doesn't use it for https access to the web interface, instead using the self-signed certificate marked as "No" in that column.
The manual is not helpful at all, so I wonder what is needed to make it actually use the certificate or at least report what it dislikes about the "real" certificate.
Hi, I have a Lexmark MX310 printer.
I get the error: Replace cartridge, printer region mismatch [42.52]
I've tryed factory reset, I tried firmware downgrade and upgrade not helped.
I search in service mode for changing region, but didn't find.
Thank you for helping.
Hello all,
First off I'm not a printer guy. I'm usually Network and Security but this got thrown on my desk. The agency I work for purchased a Lexmark CS510 Color Printer. It was shipped from Lexmark with all the components installed (i.e. ink, disposal box, imaging kit) all that good stuff. Ever since I set it up on the network and the users started using it, it will print a red, blue, and black dot on every page. I have opened it up and could see where these dots are setting on top of a shiny paper substance that is below the photo conductors and ink. I clean this off and on the next print it all comes back. If I print only black and white then the color spots go away. I've attached a picture of the ink spots. Like I said, I'm not a printer guy but I feel like this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't shipped with all the components...
